Well, hello there! It has been a while, huh? I am so two-thousand-and late posting some adventures on my personal blog, but hey, it's better late than never.
Here's fun adventure I had with my friend at Mustoy Cafe in Hongdae.
Enjoy!
I hope you enjoyed the photos. Now, please go ahead and check my friend's page, BETHANY. She is amazing!

14 YEARS!
For our 14th year wedding anniversary, I gifted my hubby something that he'd enjoy. And yes, this is a perfect gift for somebody who loves to dive...and loves cookies. :)
These too beautiful to eat delicious cookies were made by my talented friend, Charlene of The Cookie Bug.

Why Self Portraiture?
I have been meaning to do this again for months, only this time, I didn't dance and sing while my kids are watching and say that I am crazy for dancing without music. It was fun and I intend to do this more often. Why? I honestly think that this will help me grow as a photographer and will push me to be more creative.
The first 2 images were done with in-camera multi exposure. For the first exposure (myself) I used the Lensbaby Edge 80 and for the second one, I used Lensbaby Sweet 35 with the heart creative aperture disc.
Thank you so much for peeking through. :) Hugs, Marisa

Back To School
My multi-talented friend started a Snap Happy Friday on her website and I decided to participate. This week's theme is "Back To School". I swear, I have lots of ideas, bought fruits early this week to photograph them but the bananas gone bad before I even have time to take pictures. Anyways, I wanted something meaningful... and you might be wondering why fruits/food on a back to school theme? I pack lunches for my boys - EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.- since they started kindergarten - and so I thought it would be nice to just photograph fruits packed in a lunchbox with a little note I once in a while put in. But then, this is my youngest first year of middle school. The night before his first day of school, he told me he is sad because I am going to be alone while he is at school. That just touched me to the core of my heart. And so he said, I can now do whatever I want during the day and even drink an alcohol. Just that, it gave me an idea to use a raspberry smirnoff for bubbles, and it worked! And no, I haven't drunk any light alcohol yet since the school started.
Enjoy and thank you for reading.

Rainbow Bridge Fountain
Last month, my friend from childhood that now resides in LA came to Seoul for a visit. Since this was the only night she could go to check out the Rainbow Bridge Fountain, we braved the chilly and windy night - considering we walked almost the whole day exploring the palaces in Gyeongbokgung. It was a fun day!
Last week, our very own leader, Victoria of AFSC Photography Group organized a photo meetup. And as always, it's wonderful to get-together with my awesome photographer friends, plus I just love it when my honeybug goes out with me on a photo outing. That's my kind of date with him I always want. :)
I can't wait to go again!
Enjoy! ♥Marisa

Water Play
While I am in the middle of editing photos from previous newborn session, and not to mention lots and lots of cherry blossom photos, I'd like to share this water play my son and I did today. We had another crazy day today, lots of rain, a bit of sunshine then it suddenly got colder in the evening. I always look forward for the rain to take pictures of reflections in the puddle. I am so happy my sweet son played along with me and he even took a few shots of me. Enjoy! ♥
